Rew Rixom

Rew Rixom

Rew hails from the Republic of South Africa, and has been living in Glenwood Springs for about 8 years.

Rew along with his American born wife Laura and son Sage came to the USA in 1997 from beautiful Plettenberg Bay, South Africa to introduce Sage to his American family and ended up living in West Hempstead New York for a year before moving out to Colorado.

Rew studied Fine Art at Cambridge Collage in Durban South Africa, after matriculating went on a surfing adventure around South Africa that ended up with Rew catching the travel bug.

This lead to working and traveling around the United Kingdom for a few years.

After getting back to Africa Rew married Laura in Zimbabwe and the rest is history.

Since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley Rew has worked for Aspen Ski co as a lift op, photographer, Snowboard Instructor and Maintaining the Terrain Park at Snowmass.

He's work a couple of summers as a river guide for Whitewater Rafting in Glenwood Springs and the last 4 and a half years, before leaving to start Pride in Work, at Blizzard Internet Marketing.

At Blizzard Rew was a web designer, database developer and design department manager.
